Well here we go for the third time, sold twice both times bogus checks - NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - For sale 1997 BMW 328i Convertible. Bought this car used in 2005 with 93000 miles on it. Everything was great for two years then it quickly began deteriorating, I tried to keep up with the repairs, in fact had dreams of restoring it to 100% of it's former glory as my wife loves this car. It is an every day driver to this day and it starts and runs every day but we do not live far from my wifes place of work, it has alot of problems however and would make a great project or parts car. A/C is intermittent, the top has not gone down in over a year, radio does not work, most interior panels are broken or torn, needs new interior, glove box switch broken, fuel delivery problem of some sort, not the pump but you have to turn key on push pedal several times turn key off and then it starts fine, needs suspension, has good tires but the four do not match, power windows are on their way out, only go up/down when they want to, clear coat on hood has begun to flake off. If that hasnt scared you and you want to read further here is what I have done to it in the last two years. Hood Shocks, Trunk Latch Mechanism OEM,Valve Cover Gasket (Spark Plug and Bolt Gaskets) OEM,Crank Case Pressure Regulating Valve and Hoses (2) OEM,Coolant Level Sensor OEM,Fuel Filter OEM,Coolant Reservoir OEM, Water Pump (metal impeller), Radiator OEM, Thermostat OEM, Aluminum Thermostat Housing, Battery, OEM Bosch Starter, Wheel Bearings, Steering Lock OEM, Ignition Switch OEM, Key Lock Ignition Cylinder with Key Code OEM, Used Power Steering Pump from Bavarian Auto Recyclers OEM. Body is straight few dings here and there, one dent in hood and one on trunk lid where she backed into our mailbox (new house with mailbox on the other side now) Motor seems to be fine still has power (fast little car), there is an oil leak at the filter housing (needs gasket). It has 2005 3 Series Rims in 17" Top was replaced by dealer when we bought it in 2005, inside has some loose/hanging material. Has spare tire I bought from BMW as it did not come with one, tool kit and jack are there. That's it I think, it's no cream puff but it has potential and is straight and virtually rust free, never been wrecked by us or anyone as far as I can tell. thanks for looking and I will try to answer any questions I can.
