About Me Corvair Gasser Project Car San Jose, CA 95110 Time in San Jose Description It's a 1961 Corvair Monza Coupe body resting on a professionally built tube chassis. It's a project and will need body mounts fabricated, a floor and wheel well sheet metal work. It has a narrowed 9 inch Ford rearend housing, axles and rear disc brakes in place. Art Morrison ladder bars with all new Heim joints. Up front there's new coil-over struts, rotors, and rack & pinion steering installed. The rolling stock is a new set of Weld wheels and ProTracs. The body is mocked up on the frame and is not permanently mounted. It's at a point now where you can either continue building it as a Corvair Gasser, or sell the body parts and use the chassis for another project. I took this in on a trade deal, and I don't have the time to spend on it. Sold with a California bill of sale.
