Vehicle Detail
1984 honda v45 saber 700. This bike looks and rides great. Clear wisconsin title. It does not leak any oil or gas ever and runs extreemely smooth through all gears and does not smoke or make any abnormal sounds. The bike is in Watertown, WI 53094 Almost exactly half way between madison and milwaukee. This bike was a friends who has owned it for about 10 years now and wanted me to look it over for him and make sure to have it sold and paid for by next weekend so I had him ride it over and drop it off wendsday and I took these pictures of it then so yes the pictures are NEW. I actually have rode this bike to florida a few years back and from there home, I borrowed it to take a cross country trip a few years back. Shaft drive so very smooth and powerful, It is a 5 speed with overdrive so 6 speed. hydrolic clutch which makes it extreemely easy to pull in the clutch without having to yank a cable back. All brakes and seat, helmet latch, ignition and engine work great. he always hasent gotten the total love of riding so he just wants to get a 4 wheeler instead. All the lights work execelent directionals, brake, running lights, backlights on the gages and headlight high and low. Guages all work, as do the warning lights. The tires have decent tread on them and the back tire was replaced with a brand new one last year, along with the front brake pads. And the oil was recently changed along with a brand new oil filter 14,800 miles on the bike now. The only flaws that are on the bike are three things i see. the seat has a few tiny cracks in the far front edge as seen in the picture. the sidecover emblems were stollen off the bike many years ago. The left side cover had fallen off the bike once and got a little roughed up but still looks good and hangs onto the bike. The rear foot peg rubber is a little worn but I dont know why, he never rode with anyone else so it must have been from the previous owner when it was new. Finally the front left fork tube has a little moisture on it, it is a slight bit of oil where the seal is but thats all there ever is, it dosent run down the fork or soak the tube or anything. It is a very very minor dampness and all the suspension is nice and very comfortable when riding ......................well there you go, You can ride the bike home no matter where you live, It has always been dependable and ran execelent, time for you to enjoy it. Good luck and happy bidding. Winning Bidder Must Immidatly Write me a message with their phone number within 12 hours. On May-31-11 at 05:10:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello, Just adding this incase anyone has the question about how well it starts and I forgot to put that in the listing. This bike starts cold or warm with one quick push of the starter button. You dont have to play with the trottle at all......when not warm already turn the key to on, turn on the choke and push start thats all, bike fires up immiediatly and runs great always. Another question that you may be wondering is if the owner was responsiable and took care of the bike, let me put it this way, he is 42 years old and is a dairy cow farmer. he rarely rode the bike because he was always a bit afraid of riding so he always made sure that there wasent anything that could go wrong. He would rather have as he says "training wheels" otherwise known as a four wheeler for on the farm where he cant go over 30mph at most. Anyway good luck and happy bidding, and have a great riding summer
