1956 FORD THUNDERBIRD BLACK PLATE CALIFORNIA T-Bird ! V-8 Automatic, Continental Kit, Porthole top,Nice T-Bird! 1956 FORD Thunderbird Colonial White and Buckskin Tan California Car,Has Buckskin Tan Interior which are the Factory Colors per the data plate. Over $9650.00 ++ spent on rebuilding the 312 engine and automatic transmission, triple chromed bumpers some new trim and chrome . New wiring harness, alternator conversion. New exhaust, Interior, brakes including front lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and shoes. 100 miles since rebuild and paint and interior, never any bondo, rust, patch panels, or damage history. New tires, battery, weather stripping. Nice clean Thunderbird. This has the 1957 Intake and the later model Holley carburetor with the updated 1957 Distributor. Have most all of the receipts excluding paint. This Thunderbird has aprox 215-400 miles on it most are freeway miles. Minor issues, Speedometer stopped working 20 miles ago,Town and Country radio and clock does not  work and needs wndshield gasket. This is a nice T-Bird that has been in the previous owners family since 1969 and garaged for that time as well. The previous owner told me this Thunderbird car was never in any accidents and saw it when it was stripped and there was no patch panels, bondo, or rust. The S1 dealer code was a special code when production exceeded 999 units and most likely a San Jose, California delivery back in 1956.
