Up for auction is this great looking 1973 MG Midget roadster with only 62,000 miles! If you want a car that is a blast to drive for not a lot of money, this is your car! This is a Sharp little MG with newer Dark Blue paint that looks nice. The MG has a brand new professionally installed top and a newer boot. Inside you will see the Camel Tan interior is original, but looks very nice. The Dark Blue with Camel tan looks classy yet sporty. It has the original Radio with upgraded speakers and an FM converter. Original looks with FM option. This little gem rests on the original 13 inch wheels with nice Firestone tires. The MG runs strong with the original 4cyl engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. A super fun driver with plenty of pep, but will still get great fuel mileage. Like previously mentioned there are only 62,000 original miles on this cute little rig. This is a great running, great driving car that is at the right price for anyone! In 1974 Bob Thiel left Thiel Motor Sales and teaching to become a partner in what is today Burnette-Thiel Ford. John along with his Father Jim and Mother Mary stayed at Thiel Motors to serve the DeWitt area. In 1992 Mary passed away after a bout with cancer. After her death, Jim decided to retire from the business and turn it over to his son John. John then retired from Teaching and went into the business full time. In 1997 John's son Jim came to work for the family business. John's other son Jon Jr. Came to work for the business in 2001. In 2001 Thiel Motors had grown so rapidly that they opened a second location in Clinton Iowa.
