Vehicle Detail

Very nice, all original, one owner, original clean title signed by original owner, dependable, fully serviced, tuned and ready to ride. Honda C70 Passport with electric and kick start, only 1947 actual miles. Weighs a mere 184 lbs, rides 2 people, Does 48 miles per hour and gets close to 100 miles per gallon. No reserve auction. Please read the entire ad, understand shipping and registration costs and look at over 60 pictures and watch the You Tube video before you bid. This is a survivor so it has never had the engine apart and nothing has been painted. Everything is original except for the battery, oil, fuel hose, and carburetor gaskets. The seat material is still very soft. This bike has not been in the weather. I bought it from the original owner, she is 73 years old so she would have been 44 when she bought it new. These are almost impossible to find without at least a crack or two in the plastic. Well you just found one! This little gem has real nice plastic. This is a scooter with electric and kick start. It is easy to shift with an automatic clutch and 3 speeds so the kids can ride it too. Rides 2 people. This thing is so smooth and quiet that it makes Grandma's sewing machine seem noisy. At only 184 pound it is great for the Motorhome and riding around the camp or running to the store. A second basket will easily install on the back rack. In 1982 Honda switched from a 6 volt system to this 12 volt system, and swaped the points with an electronic ignition. The result is that this 1982 and newer models are more reliable, easier to maintain, and are little more efficient. The C70 was built from 1970 to 1986 so they are getting very hard to find in this great condition without any broken or cracked plastic. Honda has stood the test of time. This is perhaps the most durable and dependable little motor ever built. This is not a cheap China made clone. This is the real deal. For search purpose this is similar to the Honda Cub. Below is a video link to You Tube and below that is a link to about 60 more pictures. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Honda Passport link I have over 30 years in this same location as Sam's Cycle Service Inc. in Southern California near Palm Springs as a full time 40 hours per week hands on motorcycle and ATV service shop owner. Bid with confidence!!! I personally prepared this rare jewel for you and stake my proud 100% positive feedback reputation on your satisfaction. This is what I did. Installed a new quality Yuassa battery. Adjusted the tire pressure and inspected condition. The tires are good with some minor surface cracking. Removed the carburetor to clean and polish the inside and installed new Honda carburetor gaskets, fuel filter and a new float needle. Removed the fuel tank to inspect and rinse out. I found no rust inside or out and replaced the fuel hose with genuine honda fuel line. Cleaned the air filter. Changed the oil. Adjusted the valve clearance, cam chain and clutch Lubed and adjusted the drive chain and cables. Changed the headlight with a new original honda beam. Changed the instrument bulbs and the tail light bulb. Checked that absolutly everything functions as intended. Nothing leaks, there is no smoke anywhere and like I said the motor is increadably quiet. I test rode and did a nice wash and polish job. The only minor compalint is that there is a small scratch on the muffler and some very minor pitting in some of the chrome. Please look close at all the pictures as they are what will sell this bike. I looked it over completely and give it my AAA stamp of approval. Check my healthy e-bay score. I am proud of it. I have been here in this same location since 1982 as a full time hands on motorcycle sales and service shop where I have sold over one thousand motorcycles. Your satisfaction is just as important as is my reputation. Registration and title. If you win this little gem and live in California then I will also collect 8.75% sales tax from you plus the registration, title, documentation prep and transfer fees not to exceed $145.00 plus the sales tax. Once I get your signature on the application for new title as new owner I will do the DMV transfer for you. You will not stand in line at the DMV Currently there is a planned non op filed with DMV so there are no penalties for late registration. Any amount over $145.00 plus the tax would be paid by me. If you are not in California then I will hand you the clear signed title. You would pay the winning bid price only and I would work with you to get a bill of lading or something to show the bike being shipped out of California. I will fallow through with satisfaction depending on your state or country. Before you Bid Please understand this...To clarify legitimate intent, method of delivery and payment Please be prepared to contact me within 24 hours of winning a vehicle from my auction. If you are new to E-Bay or have a feedback score of zero or less then please contact me before bidding or using buy it now. I am very thorough with my descriptions and good with my camera but still human. I do recommend you come see my used vehicle before bidding. Please only bid after you have calculated your delivery method and cost. This means you will have already made contact with one of my suggested shippers or one of your own. Understand that I require a minimum good faith deposit of $250.00 or payment in full within 48 hours. If making just the deposit within 48 hours the balance must be paid in full as cleared funds within 10 days of sale and before pick up even if I have agreed to store the bike for you here longer. Please don't hesitate to contact me for clarification. I am fair and easy to get along with. Making Payment I require a minimum good faith deposit of $250.00 or payment in full within 48 hours. Please use Pay Pal or my credit card terminal at my shop for the minimum deposit only. If I do not receive at least the good faith deposit within 48 hours I will assume buyer default. I would then re-list the item and send negative feedback. Too many previous defaults make this policy necessary. For the balance I prefer cash in person or credit card through my shop terminal as long as funds clear my account within 10 days of sale and before pick up or delivery. Registration fees, tax and Title See above. I will assist in the complete satisfaction of transfer. My 100% positive e-bay score is important to me. No feed back is expected until everyone is happy. Taking Delivery Vehicles stay in my possession until funds clear my account or you pay cash in person and the required deposit has also cleared. No charge to deliver to a local shipper or your home if less than 25 miles. Perhaps something could be worked out for me to help with some or all of the delivery if arranged in advance before you bid. Click on shipping at the top of the ad for multiple quotes by Giga moves. If you are interested in my shipping assistance then For $225.00 paid in advance I could deliver to your shipper or your home within 120 miles including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Compton or Sandiego area. You could also contact U Ship. uShip.com is an online marketplace where you can list your freight or anything you need shipped or moved, and receive bids from thousands of feedback-rated carriers. www.uship.com About Us and where we are I have sold well over two thousand used motorcycles and ATV's out of my little shop. My name is Sam Plonski and my shop is..... Sam's Cycle Service Inc. located at 34044 Bob Hope Dr. Rancho Mirage Ca. 92270 I have been in this same shop running my Motorcycle Sales, Service, Parts and Salvage business 40 hrs per week since 1982. My step son Bill has been with me full time since 1988. We do not drink, smoke or do drugs. I have been sober since 1981. We may get cranky and cuss a little too much (petroleum products and chemical exposure I guess) but we are for the most part easy going and professional. We often know what is wrong with a bike and how to fix it before it makes it all the way into the drive way. This has always been my fun way of life in this word of mouth business. Your satisfaction is just as important to me as is my reputation. It is a small world. Motorcycle people are my kind of people. If you have anything at all to trade I could be interested. Our business hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Wednesday through Saturday or by appointment. I am sometimes here 7 days per week. Stop by and see me some day. Find me I am 6 miles east of Palm Springs and about 110 miles east of Los Angeles in Southern California. From Intersate 10 you would take the Bob Hope / Ramon Rd. exit. This is easy to find because from the interstate 10 freeway you can not miss the Agua Calliente Casino with the 18 story hotel. Just head towards the Casino Hotel on Ramon and turn left on to Bob Hope Dr. I am 1 mile past the Casino on the left side after Walgreens.
