Here is a Nice clean 1964 Ford F100 long box pickup. The truck came to NY from southern California 10 years ago. The truck was a excellant original truck when found and then was given a complete restoration from top to bottom. The chassis was rebuilt completely with new brakes,joints,lines ,king pins. The engine was rebuilt by a local engine shop here in Rochester NY . The chassis was cleaned and painted chassis black.(dull like original)The exhaust system was replaced from front to back. The truck has new Uniroyal tires,shocks and rubber bushings and door seals. The interior was completly restored with new paint on the dash,inside and around doors,new headliner ,mat and seat cover. The exterior was treated to a very straight and clean paint job in the original light blue.The body panels are VERY STRAIGHT ,no door jams or waves. The glass is original and the windshield has a chip on the right side. (Its never spread) . It appears the box was removed from the chassis when this was all done as the back of the cab is painted well.The doors open and close correctly with new seals around them. No need to slam them ,they just close with a click.... Under the hood the truck is clean ,straight and correct. The inner fenders are excellant rust free. The floors in the truck are rock hard. The engine is painted correctly and runs smooth and quiet. It starts instantly......The truck shifts and goes down the road straight and can be driven home ANYWHERE!!! The truck has a STRAIGHT FRONT AXLE. I think 1964 was the last year for this axle and then went to twin I beam . The gauges all work,including all exterior lights,dome light ,wipers,defrost ect. The radio does not play but did last season I was told. It doesnt light up either so it may be a fuse.The spare tire is under the bed where it belongs. The truck travels along 55 mph with ease. All in all this is a nice pickup that is ready to go. It can be used and shown as -is .I have a extra original paint in the blue and the white that wasused on this truck for touch up.
