The pictures tell most of the story, here is the rest: This is a 3 owner BEAUTIFUL 2004 black Jaguar X-Type that NEEDS ENGINE REPAIR OR A NEW ENGINE. The engine has a knocking noise that I dont feel comfortable driving anymore. The car still starts up and drives, but the engine needs to have some work done or to be replaced to get it in proper running condition. A visit to the website Car-Part.Com will show 10 PAGES of 2004 Jaguar X-Type engines from wrecked cars starting at $650. Kelley Blue Book value of a Jaguar in this condition (minus engine knocking) is around $7,000 Private Party Value. This car is in pristine condition and is a head turner. Before the engine knocking the vehicle drove great and never gave me any problems. The manual transmission shifts smooth and is great for getting excellent gas mileage. All 4 tires are almost brand new. The shiny black exterior, the tan leather and the wood grain interior look really good as you can see in the pictures. To my knowledge no one has ever smoked in the vehicle and the leather is in great shape for being 7 years old. The vehicle was routinely maintenanced and has been taken care of very well.
