This is a nice little 1960 Nash Met that looks good,runs,drives,shifts,starts and stops. I am helping an older lady sell this vehicle. It belonged to her husband till he passed away. I drove it to my house from her garage approx. 22 miles away and it seemed to drive pretty good, allthough I was never in any danger of getting a speeding ticket. Most everything seems to work pretty good, even the radio works.It does not have any fluid leaks. However the wipers and the directionals do not work. I would describe this car as a fun little car to take to shows and drive around but I do not want to mislead anyone. This is not a restored show car so please don't expect that. If you are looking for a perfect show car than you should keep looking around. The interior is pretty decent. The seat bench is in good shape but the seat back is torn quite a bit, thats why you see the half seat cover. This car comes with quite a few extra parts such as rear glass,a generator, wiper motor and lots of Nash Met books and catalogs. It also has the side divider mouldings that you see on many Metropolitans. You are welcome to take a look at the car. Please email me and I will be home to meet you. I will try to answer in general all the questions here at one time because there is no way I can answer each question, there are too many. I thank you for your interest. My wife and I took the Met for a ride Sunday. Around 20 miles. I wanted to put some gas in it. The gas guage works and the heater also works excellent. I have had had tons of requests to add pictures of the engine so I will try to add them on Monday. I have also noticed that it is impossible to drive this car anywhere without drawing attention.People take pictures and ask questions. I put the car in a storage shed because people were stopping at my house to look and ask questions. One other thing is I have had many,many questions asking if 36,000 miles is original and to be honest,I really do not know. Many people want to know the reserve price and I was not going to print it but what the hell. The owner won't take any less than $4000 and by looking at the Nash Mets for sale I would say that thats a bargain for this car. Many questions regarding the extra parts include with this sale. I would also add that the tires on the car are bias not radials. Please , Please stop sending me emails with stupid $2000 cash offers and trades for your old pick up truck. Its not my car.
