You are bidding on a 70 chevelle convertible that has just been pulled from a barn where it has been stored since 1986!! The car will need completely restored. The quarters,doors,and fenders will need most of the attention. The floors have rust spots on the leading edge by toe boards,and a couple small spots on the back pass foot areas(I would repair floor and not replace) The trunk is in very good shape for it's age. The only spots of rust I see it very minor spot along the drop off into center of trunk(like 3in by 1/8in long area very minor) The only other spots are where the inner wheel houses meet the trunk drop offs(they have some separation and will need repaired again nothing horrible) The rockers(inner and outers,door jambs,cowl area,door hinge area,frame are ROCK solid.You open the doors and the do NOT drop like most. The top is a POWER top and all is still intact. The car is a power steering car as well. The car has bucket seats and a floor shift with console. The door panels say SS and so does the old bumper. This is a COMPLETE car not a tub like most. Car comes with extra flat hood,2 frt fenders(rust at lower bottom on rear of them)70 chevelle core support,steering column(auto on column purchased for correct steering wheel)correct disc brake set up and minor misc parts. The owner was told that is was an SS back in 79 when he purchased but who knows?? Good start to that LS6 clone or a weekend cruiser. Clear IOWA title. Any questions feel free to ask.
