1987 Ferrari 328 GTS - no motor, please read description You are bidding on a 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS body, HAS NO MOTOR. Clean title and NOT a salvage or insurance car. I purchased this car 12 years ago in perfect running condition. After a short while some of the valves got bent at which point the motor was removed from the car to begin to repair it, however due to lack of time and other interests, this work was never completed and subsequently many of the parts were lost. The car has been sitting for the past 10 years covered indoors, as is, missing the motor and transmission. Some parts of the motor/transmission are included in this auction, but I am mainly selling the body, as pictured. Buyer will need to replace motor and transmission. A very limited amount of motor and transmission parts that came out of this car can be included with the sale, however there are missing parts so you can not rebuild just from these motor parts. Absolutely no guarantees as to what is still here and what is missing. Front windshield recently was cracked while in storage in current location. Rear grill around the exhaust is cracked in a few spots. The car had only 24,500 miles on it when the motor was damaged, and is in good condition with no major dents or scratches. Side mirrors need fixing or replacement. Seats in relatively good condition with no rips or tears. Rugs need to be cleaned thoroughly. This car has been sitting for many years, and as such I CANNOT guarantee that there are not other items that may be in need of repairs since it was last functional. Great project car! Car is located in Newburgh, NY, and must be picked up and removed from the property by the buyer, with all transportation arrangements to be made by the buyer.
