Up for bid is a 1980 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbo Diesel . The car was bought new in 1980 in Santa Barbara California (not by me ,could not afford the $32,000 price tag ). The car has the dealer book with it .the car has 195,000 orginal miles . it has a new battery and glow plugs and has been serviced . the inside is in great shape with only slight wear to the driver seat . the cruise control works , it has the radio that came with the car- a Working Becker radio . the heater works . the air conditiontion does not . the driver side windows work , the passenger side does not . the sun roof does not work . the transmission will need to be replaced , no reverse .There is damage to the drivers side fender (see picture) needs fender replacment . The W116 seris car is becomeing very collectable and with a little work this will be an amazing car . Just wish I didnt need to sell it !!! So now the nasty stuff - THIS CAR IS SOLD AS IS - there is no returning it - its 31 years old and it is what it is - I have done my best to tell every thing I know about . I have owned it for 1 year . it is a classic car buy it with that thought ! if you bid PAY !
