Up for sale is my 1988 Suzuki Samurai 4X4. The odometer says 70K but being that I am not the original owner I cannot verify this. I do drive it daily to work and back. This is NOT a highway vehicle. I have driven it on the highway and it doesnt have the power to cruise at 65 - 70 mph. I drive it about 4-6 miles per day. It runs fine, has a little bit of a valve chatter when chugging around. If it is revved a little the chatter goes away. Im guessing a valve adjustment would take care of this. I bought the sammi about 6 months ago and am only selling it as I have 2 kids to tote around so it is not very practical that way. Here is a list of things that I've done to it since I bought it. Complete tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and valve cover gasket). I also put Lucas gear oil in the trans, transfer, and both differentials. Installed a new JVC CD stereo with speakers. Put on a 2 inch shackle lift. Brand new wheels with 235/75-15 tires. The 4 wheel drive works great. There is minimal rust and the frame is in great shape. Starts every time. Has a somewhat rough idle upon start up on cold mornings until it gets warm. I always let it warm up 5 to 10 minutes anyway. It does have A/C. May need recharged, havent tried to use it. This would make a great trail rig or an around town vehicle. It is currently PA inspected. Not looking for trades. Will not ship.
