I am offering for sale an all original unrestored one previous owner AMX. The car is equipped with a good running 304 engine. It also has automatic transmission and power steering. This is an original car equipped with the Pierre Cardin interior option. Condition of the car: This car runs well and is yard driveable. The brakes are up, but need to be gone through before putting the car on the road. The car has been hit on the lower front bumper area. These parts have been removed but I have all the original front end parts for replacement included in the sale. The windshield is good, but needs to be re-sealed as it leaks. This problem caused the floor boards to rust out. I have since replaced the floor boards with new ones from Kennedy American and have painted them black. They are now solid and look good. This was the worst thing wrong with this car, and has been corrected. Also, I have replaced the driver's door - which was damaged - with a good one (sorry, I cannot find the old door at this time for the ID plate). The other big problem needed to be corrected is in the rear quarters. Both rear quarters are rusted out, and will need to be repaired with patch panels readily available from several of our AMC parts dealers. In my opinion, this car could be put back on the road in a couple of weekends with a few hundred dollars. I believe you could drive this car while undertaking its restoration. This is a one owner un-molested car that has zero aftermarket parts added. I believe this is a good restoration project for someone on a budget who may not necessarily want a Gold Level AMX, but just needs a dependable collector car to cruise in. Buyer will need to pay with a PayPal deposit within 48 hours of purchase, and balance paid within 7 days. Cash (in person) or PayPal are the only accepted form of payment for the balance. The car will need to picked up within 30 days of purchase unless other arrangments are made. The car must be trailered as it is not road-worthy. The battery is not included in the purchase of the car.
