1998 VW Jetta GLS. Automatic with front wheel drive. 134,000 miles. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thank you. Being sold "As Is". Great car with several repairs needed (A/C, alignment, maybe muffler). We don't want to put any more $$ into it but if you do, it would be a great car! I have all the repair documents, but I don't remember what was repaired when, so please ask! I'm not a dealer or car expert but this has been a good reliable car for us since 2001. I will try to answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. Kelly Blue Book value of $2275! Title has lein from 2002 on it. Auto Loan was paid off in 2005-06. Currently working on getting Lein reference removed. Condition: Smoke-free, pet-free. Runs great, except for, but not limited to, the conditions noted below: Dents on driver's side, from taxi side-swipe while parked. A/C not blowing cold air. Exhaust tailpipe just fell off. Stalls in the heavy rain or a puddle. Alignment might need to be checked. Steering wheel wobbles. NYS inspection valid until end of November, 2010 (Check Engine light always stays on. No malfunction, needs to be "tricked" for inspection. Always does, every year) Beige Keisel 'Skizze' velour interior. Lots of little bike grease stains. Should come out with effort. Puncture on interior of passenger side door. Features: Great gas mileage. History: We bought it as Certified Pre-owned in Riverhead, NY in 2001 for $13,500 (probably overpaid for it at the time). One owner (government in CT) prior to that. No accidents while we owned it.
