1964 impala 2 dr hardtop Here it is i'm sellin my project car my 64 impala 2 dr hardtop. I bought this car and another car to make one complete nice car. i already sold my parts cars and was around the corner from completing this project, but everything is here except the side trim. but this car was gave to kid from him grandmother and had sit in a barn for 13 years and he sold the original 327 and 2 speed before he pulled out the barn. i got the car it was maroon, i sanded it down to look for the body work. body is straight but needs some body work, like in the rear qtrs. looks like somebody tried a cheap fix it job. floor pans are there but thin in the front floor board slightly. the trunk pan needs replaced(thats normal). the floor pans are in overall decent shape. the interior is black vinyl and is good shape except the front seat on the driverside. the door panels, rear panels, and back seat are in good shape with no tears. I took the carpet out of the floorboard to check for damage and have a roll of new that goes with. I do have all the rear trunk chrome, including rear chevy trunk emblem, and the trunk key works, i have the chrome that goes under the back glass and it slides right back into place. the rims and tires are new with all kinds of tread. i have all kinds of new brake hardware to replace old and also have new cowl to hood weather seal, trunk seal, and roof/rail wheather strip still in the bags. i ordered new rear tail lights and bezels and hardware off ebay, its all still in the box. theres some replacement mirrors i threw in too. I have all the chrome impala letters and extras that go on the rear side, along with the impala emblems also and some SS emblems i had. Also have 2 extra windsheild whiper motors to go with. And front bumper was removed to prep for paint and goes with also. The motor is a strong 454 thats been gone thru and painted green with chrome mr.gasket valve covers and a Weiand 4 barrel intake, new cam, timing chain etc. Also brand new water pump, right out the box, painted, and put on. It dont even have 5000 miles on it. The old small block power steering pump can go wit it. The engine is connected to a 700r4 trans thats been gone thru and painted. I ordered the 700r4 trans bracket and shift indicator for steering column from classic industries. The engine firewall and under the frame in the front was all glassbeaded, cleaned, and painted black. all the wiring is intact and ready to be connected back to the engine. The original glass top off bottle is still on the firewall. I also have good 64 radiator and fan shroud that goes with. well that should cover most of it. if u have any questions just ask. Thanks Mike
