This auction is for the pictured 1987 Ford F-250 6.9 Diesel 4 Wheel Drive Pickup Truck with 8' bed. This truck has been in our family since 1991 and it had 57,000 miles on it when we got it. It now has 164,000 miles on it. The body is pretty rough with rust. It starts and runs great but has a leak in the oil cooler tube that goes to the oil filter housing. There are about 30,000 miles on the rebuilt transmission, 200 miles on the new rear brakes, 2,000 miles on the new steering box, 20,000 miles on the new injector pump, rear fuel tank was replaced about 5 years ago. The 4 wheel drive works great. The truck stopped being driven when my dad passed away, that was the only reason. I would say if you fixed the oil leak in the oil cooler tube and check to make sure all the brake lines were still solid that you could put this truck back on the road or would be a great farm truck. The oil was always changed every 3,000 miles and everything else was well maintained when my dad had it. The exhaust is straight exhaust with glass packs. Please read my terms before you bid.
