Here we have a very nice 1969 Mercedes 280SL Convertible. The actual model of the car is a 280SL/8 which I believes designates the changes that were made the previous year in 1968. The car is in very good condition. The car has been gone over by my mechanic and it is running very well, starts right up and runs very smoothly. The car is a blast to drive, accelerates nicely and handles very well, this thing is definitely a head turner. Its a very classy car and it is easy to see why this certain model and many other Mercedes roadsters have become so desirable. The odometer reads about 14k, but it has rolled over. The car has a 3 spd automatic transmission and has an inline 6 cylinder motor. The body on the car is very clean with no rust and the car got a very nice paint job about 5 years ago, currently there are just a few very small nicks in the paint. All of the glass is in good shape. Both the hardtop and soft top are in great shape and both operate perfectly, all latches close tight. The interior is also in great shape, the light tan leather is clean and the dash is clean and crack free. Truthfully the car is very nice and for some reason I have a feeling I'm going to regret selling this one. Call me if you have any questions, Rick 352-262-3837.
