Up for auction I have an running 1997 Ford F-150 5.4 liter engine. It is a 5.4 liter engine despite what it says above. It would not give me another option other than the 4.6... I will try and describe the truck the best I can. I bought this truck about three years ago, and have mostly used it for plowing my small driveway, and due to converting a three season porch into another childrens room, I am having to sell my truck for the money... So here is the info about the truck. 5.4 Liter Engine With overdrive 4 Wheel Drive AM/FM radio with tape player and 5 disc player Power Door Locks Power Windows Leather Seats Cruise Control Tilt Steering WheelThird Door Passenger Air Bag Shut Off Snowbear Plow and all hardware Now for what it needs: Spongy brakes, replaced brake lines on rear axle but never finished bleeding breaks Rear axle seal leaks May need a new battery, on charger now, or may need new battery connector lines Pinhole leak in one of the transmission lines, just found it when I hooked up the plow. The small pinhole leak is just under the radiator (on the line not on the radiator.) Rust along the doors, and door panels. Will need some body work. Tailgate rusted, dented and handle broken. Small leak in the manifold somewhere, probably the gasket. I already replaced a gasket on one side, these F-150's are prone to the manifold gasket breaking off. Small bolt on plow needs to be replaced, or welded. This opne is an easy fix. I have pictures of both sides and noted which side needs to be fixed. Carpets are dirty, and could uses a shampooing. Might need a battery. It works, but could probably use a deep cycle battery. With the electric winch plow, it sucks the electricity right out of it. A deep cycle might be a better choice. The truck runs and drives , and wouldn't hesitate to drive it for miles. The brakes do work, just need to bleed them. I would advise you to look at the truck, see how it runs as it does need some work and don't want someone to bid and feel they have been misled. If you have any questions, please ask.
