Up for auction is a 1999 Mazda Miata. It has a salvage title due to being involved in an accident, but runs and drives great and I would consider it an easy fix. To repair it , it needs a hood, hood hinges, front bumper, RH fender, RH headlight and some work to the RH apron/headlight mounting area. The A/C still blows cold and the air bags were not deployed. This should be an easy fix to make a daily driver or a track car out of. It has 165,000 miles on it, but appears to have been well maintained. All of the coolant hoses are new and the tires were purchased in May of 2009. The tires still have 95% tread and I have the road hazard certificates for them. The clutch grabs as soon as you lift your foot from the floor indicating it has recently been replaced too. I also have a receipt for a new fuel pump being installed in 2008. The top is in excellent condition and appears to have been replaced within the last year. The Miata is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, A/C, power steering, Bose CD/cassette sound system, cruise control, power windows and power mirrors. The interior is in fairly good condition with some wear to the seats and carpet. I wish I had time to repair this car, but I have too many Miata projects already. It has to go or it will end up getting parted out. The car is located in Tucson, AZ and all shipping arrangements are to be handled by the buyer. I recommend towing or shipping the car due to the missing headlight, but if you prefer to fly to Tucson and drive it home, I will pick you up at the Tucson International airport for free. I can print a 3 business day permit for it online which is actually good for 5 days if it is printed on Thursday or Friday due weekend days not counting.
