Up for auction is a 1960 MGA 1600 Convertable in near mint condition. All of the glass is there, the top is behind the seat, and has a beautiful cover for storage. The car has been appraised by Alan Christian Motorcars, INC. This car has been stored in the garage and covered . (the pictures speak for themselves )The interior is like new . The appraisal states :Having throughly inspected the above listed vehicle, and considering all factors such as body/ sructure, cosmetics. mechanicle function, originality, this car is an example of superior quality. this MGA would certainly command a very high price in today's market and its value should be adjusted as market changes develope. " cars a preticular interst "(CPI) and price guide states a high value for this car at $15,900 based on all of the above information I beleive this car can be valued at $13,500 replacement cost. This apprisal was done in 1991 . The car has increased in value since then . Irt has been driven a few times every summer since to keep in in good mechanical condition . This car is a show piece . . It had professional pictures taken of it and even a painting done .. Also has been in the MG MAGAZINE. There are two very small pea size spots of rust (under the paint )on the bottom trunk lid . Very hard to see . These have been there since it was bought and have not gotton any worce It could probable use a turn -up and a battery charge because of lack of use and being in storage . This has been stored in a garage when not in use . RUNS GREAT !!! We also have the manuals .
