I purchased this Galaxie April 2004. Upon purchase I had the following performed by professional mechanics: Replaced brake lines, master cylinder Replaced hoses, front and rear brake lining Bearings greased and drums sent out for machining Added new front springs, sway bar links & arm bushings Four new shocks, new battery, upgraded some electrical Replaced oil filter housing, oil pressure switches & fittings Added new rebuilt starter Added seat belts In the last few months, the following was performed: Added new fuel pump & fuel lines Radiator rebuilt New fan clutch New Holley carburator and air cleaner New spark plug wires, distributor cap & rotor New vacuum lines, additional new hoses New right & left motor mounts Power convertible top goes up and down very well. Radio, heater, signals, headlights & tail lights work. Dashboard lights need replacing, speedometer needs adjusting. The interior and exterior are as I bought it. Some body work by previous owner on passenger rear quarter panel. This Galaxie 500 runs great, is fun to drive and has been fun to work on over the last six years.
