RARE 1972 MERCEDES 350SL CONVERTIBLE BOTH TOPS This is a rare 1972 Mercedes Benz 350SL convertible that runs and looks good. This Platinum Silver Mercedes comes fully equipped with its original 3.5 liter V8 engine, hardtop and sofftop, factory alloy wheels, power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, a/c, and all the potential you can only get from a rare Mercedes convertible! The exterior of this Mercedes was repainted less than 6 months ago and looks very nice. There are no scratches etc on the paint and it has a great look. The interior is in ok shape but the seats were redone at some pint and the dash could use a cover. Overall this car is an ok driver and would need interior restoration. The bottom of the car is ok but will need some rustwork eventually. This engine runs strong and the transmission shifts. Lights windows etc work and the brakes stop the car. We have not driven it extensively so you would need to check everthing out before taking any long trips.
