This is a 1964 Thunderbird project car that needs some work. The car runs well, has almost all original equipment and is licensed and insured. I purchased this car from a private owner who had the car in storage for four years and never got started on the restoration. I purchased the vehicle with the intent of restoring it completely, but I got involved with a 67 Camaro SS and this one is now for sale. I have garage stored it and it has a custom cover and storage bag. I hate to part with it, but the Camaro is more appealing to me as it is a convertible. The car does need new floorboards in the front and it has no headliner, but the leather on the back seats is in good shape, and the front seats are also in good condition, showing wear in the usual places. The previous owner installed a Pioneer CD player, so it does not have the original radio. I have both of the fender skirts and the body is in good condition, no dents or visible rust. I have a new old stock battery tray and the trunk was restored, it stays dry and the seals are good on the trunk. Some of the gauges do not function, but the speedometer works fine and the swing column works. It has the 390 8 cylinder with the automatic transmission, and it seems to work well.
