1974 Mercedes 450 slc Silver with red interior . I bought this car on ebay april 12 th 2010 from a buyer in Malibu . The buyer stated that the car ran good and all it need was a fuel pump relay . Well I put in a new relay , it runs but it will need more work then I care to do at this time . The party that I bought this car from stated that it has had a rencent transmission ,rebuilt heads and timing chain work done . It is a one owner car from California the body is in great shape no rust on the floor boards or body . All the paper work on the work that has been done is with the car . The interior is not very good It will need to be replaced (seats are ripped , dash is cracked ) . I am sad to have to sell this but I needed a car for my son to learn to drive in and not a " project" . Because of my remote location in the mountains behind Santa Barbara I will offer free towing within 100 miles . That is all I know of this car . I looked up this model and Mercedes only built 67,000 of these car so I would think that it is somewhat collectable . thank you and feel free to email me with any question .
