The car up for auction here is my grandmothers car. She can no longer drive so there is no need for her to have a vehicle any longer. This is a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. It is a large four-door car with all the trimmings. The car is pretty much loaded with all the special features. From air conditioning, to power seats in front, to heated mirrors. The interior of the car is in good shape but the exterior, as you can see from the pictures, has a few bumps and bruises. The dent, shown in the picture is the worst spot on the exterior of the car. The damage does not effect any operations with the door at all. It is merely cosmetic and we received a quote of about $1,500 to repair it (replacing the door). I would rather sell it for less money to someone who is not worried about cosmetics but would still like a nice luxury car. I have listed the mileage as 24,000 but right now it sits at about 23,600. I am driving the car to and from work right now so the mileage will be changing a little before it is sold. There are absolutely no drive ability problems, engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension all work fine. The tags are up to date and the car is ready for a new home. I am listing the car with a reserve of $9,500 and a buy it now price of $10,500. Due to past problems I will re-iterate that the first person to show up with $10,500 will own the car. I reserve the right to stop the auction at any time due to a local sale. The winner will need to arrange all shipping or pickup arrangements but I am pretty easy to work with on dates and times. We are located in Oakdale,CA (95361). I don't ask for a deposit but I do request that the full amount is paid within 72 hours of the end of auction. Again, I'm easy to work with, I just ask that any arrangements be made with me before the end of the auction so they can be approved. As far as payment I am asking for cash or a certified payment that needs to be cleared before the car can be released to the new owner. Again, make any arrangements with me before the auction ends.
