The odometer only shows 22,000 miles. When the car was removed from storage he had to replace the convertible top because the cover had stained it. The car has been tuned up and the air conditioning components serviced, a receipt for the maintenance and a/c service shows $5200. The convertible top conversion was done by Coach Works. It is a quality conversion with a functioning manual top and top boot. The sub frame has been beefed by tying the front to the rear. It also has door jamb alignment wedges so the car feels solid going down the road. The paint on the car is like new and the interior is navy blue. The convertible top and carpet has just been replaced by Riggs Brothers in St. Charles. The receipt paid on 02/14/10 is for $3500. If you like the 70-81 Firebirds and Trans Ams then this is a must have for your collection. He wants the car out of his garage, because he needs the room and doesn’t use it. He wants me to run like Barrett Jackson “NO RESERVE”! I asked him three times are you sure and he said YES. So there is no reserve. A deposit of $500 is required at end of auction and the car is available to view if you want.
