This is a rare original wood grain sided 1972 Pontiac LeMans station wagon. I've had this car for about 10 years. I don't know much about the car other then it's in the same condition today as it was when I acquired it. It's non running and needs a restoration. The paint is original along with the interior. The interior color is dark brown and it needs to be redone. The engine is a 350 cu in with a two barrel carb., Auto trans, PS, PB. I've never had it running so its engine condition is unknown. The car has been off the road for many years. There is no serious rust issues, only minor mostly light surface rust. Glass is good too. I've had this car as a future restoration project. Too many projects at this time for me though, so I've decided to let this one go to someone else who would like to restore and enjoy it. This LeMans wagon is rare with the wood grain sides. The woodgrain is a decal and is replaceable. The trim bordering the decal is unique...it's all factory original to this car. Most of these LeMans wagons I've seen do not have the woodgrain sides. I've only seen a few of these woodgrain sided LeMans wagons over the years. Would be an awesome unique restored car for someone willing to take on this project. These 60's and 70's station wagons are rare and becoming rarer all the time !! This LeMans wagon would make a great car to tow around that restored GTO or vintage race car !!
