Vehicle Detail
Very low mileage for this model year, vehicle has top rated Michelin Winter tires installed, worn clearcoat typical of 1998 model year, some body rust. Excellent fuel economy. We are 2nd owner, never in an accident, clear carfax. On Nov-29-18 at 05:38:39 PST, seller added the following information: Thank you for your interest- we received a lot of questions so we'll put as many answers here as possible and we attached additional photos for your consideration. This has been our 3rd vehicle for the last 10 years and has been used less frequently since we use the larger vehicles most often now. I want to keep the car but my wife wants to sell the vehicle to make room in our 2 car driveway because we can't park overnight on the street and we always have to drive around the third car in the driveway (especially in the wintertime, gets tedious). We never smoked in the vehicle, very clean interior and low mileage for it's age. The vehicle has normal wear and tear for a Midwest region car of it's make, model and year. Maintenance cost is the lowest of all our cars. The vehicle may benefit from a brand new catalytic converter as the check engine light occasionally goes on and off, but the vehicle continually passes IL smog /emissions check anyway, so we have never been concerned about it. It has been a reliable point A to point B vehicle, and never left us stranded. Even though it's our oldest car, it has the best fuel economy (averages 29-30mpg), certainly better than our newest Honda and way better than our Minivan). Parts are extremely cheap and widely available. It is the best handling vehicle of all our cars, even better than our larger 2013 Honda sedan, and we have kept it simply because it is the least expensive to drive when gas prices go up. It has top rated Michelin X-Ice 15" tires for winter driving, because we value safety above all. The car has Both front driver and passenger side seat air bags (not a common option for that year),and the vehicle has never been in an accident. Happy bidding and best wishes to all!
