Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1971 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe. This car needs a restoration but this is a fun project car that you can drive around while you work on it. It currently has a 413 engine in it but it also comes with the original numbers matching 383 block. It has a 727 Transmission, 8 3/4 rear end. I drive it everywhere just as it is now and it always gets lots of looks. This is a pretty highly optioned 2 fender tag car and I also have the original build sheet with it. Factory B5 Blue with blue interior, one piece headliner with overhead console, AM/FM thumbwheel radio, Rallye Dash, 6 Way driver seat, power windows and lots more options. The car is very solid, all of the frame rails and crossmember are in great shape. There is some bubbling in the lower quarters and trunk floor but all of the passenger area floor pans are nice. The car was a race car for a long time and has subframe connectors, but it was stored indoors so it never got too rusty. If you have any questions about the car please don't hesitate to ask, I have some videos on YouTube that you can find if you do a search for "Cynister26 Barracuda" a walk around video and also another video of the undercarriage. $500 Deposit due within 48 hours of the auction end, the remaining to be paid within 7 days in Cash or wire transfer. I have a clear Missouri title in my name. The buyer is responsible for shipping but I can assist in loading. No Zero or negative feedback bidders. Thank you for looking! On Oct-01-18 at 16:20:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Some additional details about the car... As I mentioned it needs a restoration but it's a fun driver as it sits right now but it has some quirks. The power windows work for the most part but the switches are finicky, the speedometer doesn't work because the cable broke, the gas gauge works, the amp meter works, the Tach works, the temp gauge and oil pressure gauges under the dash work but the ones in the Rallye dash are disconnected and the lights that light up the gauges don't work either. The 6 way seat works great, the headers have a leak, the radio works in AM but when it is in FM it will tune stations but there is no volume. The brakes are good, the transmission works well and shifts nice! I think it has been rebuilt with a shift kit. It has small oil and transmission leaks like 99% of old cars :) The rearend has an open differential with 3.23 gears. I think that's about it, just let me know if you have any questions! Thanks, JasonOn Oct-06-18 at 14:10:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Added a few more pics. As I mentioned this car needs a restoration, it has some dents and the paint is probably 30+ years old and has some checking, it is hard to show in the pictures. I tried to show it in more details in the video so be sure to check that out. No major rust issues and as far as I can tell it is all original sheet metal.
