1988 Buick Reatta Supercharged II This vehicle was one I was going to keep forever, selling due to health. It's never been driven in the winner and rarely driven in the rain. Loaded with options including Bose sound system and Sun roof. The Interior is also in excellent condition and the leather is soft, the Instrument Panel is soft and pliable where it's supposed to be, the Leather is not dried, the plastic is not cracked, the Carpet does not have holes in it. As you can see by the video posted on You Tube everything on this vehicle works and none of the electronics have malfunctions at all. The Supercharged Series II engine is a Factory GM crate Engine, it now has 10,000 miles on the engine. The engine is an OBD2 operating system and the computer was Tuned by Sinister Performance (Fort Wayne Indiana). This vehicle was not driven for approximately 5 years From 2004 to 2009, Garage kept. In 2009 I started the transformation to Supercharged Engine and completed 2 years later. This past winter I completely rebuilt the mechanical suspension components; New Wagner brake pads calipers and rotors the front rotors are cross drilled. All 4 struts have been replaced including bearings and bushings. Drive axles have been replaced. The power steering system has been completely replace steering rack, inter & outer tie rods, new power steering cooler & lines. The evaporator core, heater core, and AC compressor have all been replaced with new components including blower motor. The hood and trunk struts are all new. The headlamp motors have been rebuilt with new drive gears. The Engine; just was tuned, New; spark plugs, spark plug wires, AC Delco air flow meter, Edelbrock air filter system New alternator New battery. All Bulbs have replaced with Sylvania Super Silverstar Bulbs, except the backup lamps which have been replaced with extra bright LED Bulbs. The transmission was completely rebuilt by a technician from General Motors powertrain transmission division. This vehicle is 100% mechanically sound. I purchased this vehicle in 1989. It was damaged in a collision. I purchased the vehicle from AAA Insurance, all the repairs were done at Fischer Body Refinishing and no expense was spared on the collision restoration. All parts were replaced with GM factory parts. The refinish coatings AKZO and has not had any paint work done since January 1990 with the exception of brush touch up. As it has had its share of nicks and scrapes over the years so it does have its share of brush-touch spots.. At this time the finish is starting to show its age, if you know where the look. However there is absolutely no rust on this vehicle. The vehicle was completely disassembled of interior trim and exterior trim , and after the refinish process was completed, a 100% of the Body's interior components were rust proofed with AKZO wax based rust inhibitor. If you know refinish products you know AKZO coatings are one of the best automotive refinishes in the world. I have taken several photographs of the body close up so that you can tell the condition of this vehicles body. This vehicle all around in excellent condition and is dependable and reliable to drive for years without any serious maintenance work. I love the way this vehicle performs with acceleration, stopping, handling, tight curves and corners. This is a real head turner anywhere you go. With this vehicle being an insurance collision sale vehicle, it has he rebuilt title which means that it was inspected by the state of Michigan certifying all repairs and part replacement. However depending on the state, the rebuilt title certification may not apply, and in other countries most likely does not apply. Regardless of that this is an outstanding vehicle for the price.
