I went to the sister dealership of where the car was originally bought. They could not pull up any info on the truck, but they found it all to be very interesting and loved the truck and the paper work.Next I went to the DMV. After waiting for my number to be called they could not tell me anything at all. They said I could pay for a history report but that will not show any info on the odometer. With the information I have I can not say for sure that the miles on this Jimmy are correct. I have owned many cars and trucks some very old with low miles, she old with lots of miles, and by my educated guess I would say no more then 75k miles on it. This is not a fact just a guess. The reason I say this is by comparing the frame and undercarriage to another truck that I own near the same age but has 200k on it. They both spent there entire life in the same part of Oregon. Also by looking at the floors, seats and so on. The last low millage car I owned was a 1972 with 74k and it was not this clean. I will continue to dig and do research. Another thing that I want to bring up is the suspension. I mentioned it had some sort of lift in the back and that I was suppose to take it back to be aligned again this week. Will I spoke to a ebay member today that called asking questions about the truck and he pointed out some stuff I didn't know. First the front and back as been lifted 2.5"-3"(his guess). In his opinion (which he sounds knowledgeable and honest on the subject) it needs some things added in order for the lift to be done correctly. His suggestions were extended stainless steel brake lines, drop pitman arm and possible a new steering box. I wanted to point this out. I know little to nothing about lift kits. I know the blazer does drift when driving but I thought it was the steering wheel and the alignment. I need to be very clear on this to all bidders. With that said also realize this is a 1988 Not a 2018 so it will most likely not be long until you start needing little repairs there and here. I have owned them all from high mile old cars to low mile owned cars to restored old cars one thing they all share and that is they are old. They all will need maintenance. I will replace and go through it all once more prior to shipping. I will fix and repair it all until the day it leaves. But if in 30 days the starter goes out don't get mad at me please. Thanks
