Vehicle Detail

Thanks for looking! Here's a really nice truck, crew cab short bed, bed liner bed, onboard air ready for you to tow or install a 5th wheel for your toy hauler. This truck is ready to work. While this truck does have some cosmetic items that would need fixed for it to be "perfect" it is in extremely good condition overall with no rust whatsoever! Now for those of you who may be scratching your heads, here's the story on this truck... I found this greystone metallic Silverado at the Texas salvage auction and as soon as I saw it I knew I couldn't let it end up being sold for parts. It spoke to me through the computer and said "Fix me!". I listened, which may benefit you but certainly didn't benefit my wallet. I'll stop being silly for a moment to talk about what was done to make this truck ride again. Check out the last picture to see how it was when I purchased it. When we got the truck in, my mechanic quickly informed me the frame was shot so we actually purchased ANOTHER duramax to use for parts. Despite my mechanic's glee at the amount of work he was going to be able to bill me for already, we decided that as long as we were replacing the frame we should go the extra mile and use the 4x4 from the donor to make this truck 4x4. So as you can see in the pictures we went the 4x4 conversion route "the right way". This involved swapping the frame as well as the dash out of the donor 4x4 truck to make everything factory. I did not want to have a hack job, or cobbled together truck at the end of our project. I wanted everything to be exactly like a 4x4 truck would come from the factory, and trust me this truck is exactly how it should be - I spent over $7000 with my mechanic to put this truck back together. Here's a list of parts that were replaced with used parts (from another donor truck that wasn't wrecked) - - Frame - Front differential- Complete cooling core support as well as radiators, condenser and intercooler- Headlights, both fenders, hood and bumper - Dash & harness (for 4x4 conversion purposes)- Transfer case (electronic push button) - Allison 4x4 extension housing to go from 2wd to 4x4- Driveshaft (to go from 2wd to 4x4) I intended to keep it and drive it forever but for me I think the fun is in putting them back together and soon after got my sights set on a 2015 Silverado so this one has to go. Truck will come with a rebuilt Virginia title. Check your state requirements about titling a rebuilt vehicle. Important to note rebuilt is NOT salvage, this truck was inspected and deemed repaired and is now REBUILT. Please call me at 804-three87-9484 (sorry phone bots & spammers I don't need any help selling my vehicle) This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.
