I have have personally driven this car for the last 8 years and it is very reliable fun car to drive. It has a fresh smog compliance check certificate as of 5/21/2018. SMOG certificate in hand and filed with state of AZ. Michelin staggered tires are in great shape. Maintenance performed: Twin Turbos replace new by BMW North Scottsdale at 79,000 miles - (due to waste gate rattle)New Clutch, pressure plate, and new flywheel 113,000New BMW factory alternator 103,000New Water pump and temp regulator 98,000New in tank fuel filter assembly 115,000Front and back brake rotors are drilled and slotted with ceramic padsNew spark plugs and coil packs - less than 100 miles on plugs COBB - FMIC - Front Mount inter-cooler with 3 inch inlet and outletAftermarket OCC-Oil catch can installed Dual cone inlet filters + stock air-box comes with car4 New TPMS at last tire change Serpentine belt and power steering pump pulley replacedAirbag recall performedResent oil service with fully synthetic oil - I have always changed the oil with fully synthetic at 1/2 oil change intervals The car runs and drives flawlessly. Mechanically sound, Ice cold A/C. Approximately one year ago someone backed into my front left fender, ( very minor damage, I have the pictures) so i took the opportunity to upgrade the front bumper, and fenders to M style.
