1975 Mercedes Benz DMS 450 SL Roadster You are viewing a very special car built by Neil DeAtley (DeAtley Motor Sports). Mr. DeAtley owned a Trans AM team back in 82/83 and won the Championship in 83 with David Hobbs and Willie Gibbs as drivers. This car is one of two specialty built cars starting off the production run with plans to build a number of cars. As it turned out only two cars were built with the other car still owned by a DeAtley family member. Both are referred to as the DMS (DeAtley Motor Sports) cars. The engines were upgraded with performance parts producing more horse power with other changes such as custom aluminum fenders and such. The car was driven on a regular basis for years with 46,800 miles. Please read on for more particulars of the car: Body/Paint: Body and paint is in very good condition. Hard top is in very good condition with soft top. Interior: The interior is stock and in very good condition. Running Gear: Stock to the car with engine upgrades. Trans and rear end operate as they should. Suspension: Stock Bright work: All in very nice condition. Glass: Original in good condition. Exhaust: Stock in great condition. Brakes: Disc brakes in good operational condition. Wheels/Tires: Factory wheels with DMS logo. Summary: The car represents a good driver and ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
