Up for Sale here is my '97 12-valve Cummins 5-speed 4x4. I've had this truck for over 6 years and the only problem I ever had with it was the starter went out on it. I just put in a new starter and 2 new batteries, so hopefully it will be problem free for another 6 years. This truck spent the first 12 years of its life in the desert of Southern Utah before coming to Northern Illinois, it has not been driven in the winter since it has been here. In 2012 I spent over $3,000 to have the front bumper, lower part of the body, door jams, fender flares, grill, and bed sprayed with Line-X. Have before pictures to prove it was rust free before the Line-X was applied. The truck is still 100% rust free! The trucks paint was faded pretty bad from the desert sun, so i had all the blue re-painted in 2012. Also put on a brand new tailgate at that time because the original was dented. The paint has held up very nice. There are a few chips from rocks and stuff, but nothing that sticks out. I am the 3rd owner. Truck has original fuel pump and turbo. Truck flat-out runs great and will start in the middle of winter after sitting for a month without being plugged in. Goes down the road at 80 mph with no problems. This thing will pull anything and doesn't squat with a heavy load. Interior is in great condition. I'm going to attempt to list what I know about this truck, I' sure I'll forget a couple things. Also going to try to get more pictures posted here if I can figure out how.
