This 1960 Morris Mini Minor is in very nice condition, probably between a 2 and a 3 in Haggerty’s rating system. It has lived in a dehumidified garage and has no significant rust or mechanical issues. It has one smallish dent in the top of the front drivers side fender and a couple of places there are chips. Being a 1960 car, it still has the floor mounted starter button and drum brakes. During a complete restoration in the mid nineties, it was modified with what appears to be a 998cc Cooper engine with 12G206 head, twin SU carbs and headers and a remote Cooper style shifter. My recent modifications include electric fuel pump, Pertronics ignition, adjustable GAZ shocks, disc front brakes with Cooper S master cylinder, spin on oil filter, Yokohama A008 tires on Minilite rims. Cobra Classic seats, Cooper 3 pod instrumentation, Morris Cooper Grille, Morris Cooper hood and trunk badges and Lucas P100 headlights. I have the original set of wheels, hubcaps and tires, Minor grille, red and grey seats and the correct single pod speedo and bezel; plus some other miscellaneous parts which will go with the car, as well as various repair manuals. The rear drums have been rebuilt, the motor fully serviced with all new fluids and Grose Jets in the SU's. The car has had all new wheels balanced, front end aligned and it has been corner balanced as well. It goes, stops and handles like a Mini should. The cooling system has been flushed and serviced. It is running a set of straight cut racing gears. Shifts better than any Mini I can remember. And sounds cool.The body panels, tub, undercarriage, subframes, pickup points, floors-both interior and trunk are all in EXCELLENT condition. There is no visible rust through on the car anywhere. I was offered a good buck for it from a guy who is restoring a real Cooper S. He figured the body was so nice he would save money swapping his Cooper parts over to mine instead of having this body done. I have all receipts for work I've done and parts ordered. A clean Maryland title is in my hand. It is currently registered and insured with Maryland historic tags.This is a great little car that is on the button and ready to go.
