Glossy Paint - Despite its age the paint itself on this custom-painted 2005 Suzuki GSX1300R is surprisingly glossy, with little in the way of extraneous scratches & swirls - has likely been a garage-kept bike. That said, the bodywork on the lowest of the right-hand side is damaged from an unfortunate fall. (The tip of the front brake lever is scratched, too.) Please review the pictures carefully or, better yet, call Tim H. at 512-213-9105 to come take a first-hand look. Has Rock Chips... but only a few!Overall we'd call this GSX1300RK5 a "Good" condition cosmetically - beyond "Fair" but not quite "Very Good," it'll certainly make a functional Track Bike or could be converted back to a little more of a Show Piece with some time & attention. We DO like the "laydown" (or side-mount) license plate bracket and pigtail for a battery tender, but wish both rear view mirrors were still installed. There ARE a couple of areas that need attention mentioned in the section labelled "Mechanical" - be sure to read! It starts & runs with just a touch of the starter button, but even a perfunctory look-over revealed at least a couple of Areas Requiring Attention: 1. The gas tank cover is NOT bolted down, and; 2. There is no rear brake switch. (ALSO please note: Because of the lacking brake light off of the rear brake the bike won't pass State of Texas safety inspection and an in-state buyer will need to replace that switch and get the bike inspected before registration can be completed!) Also, while we want to let you know everything we've seen in an "informal" look-over as a Harley-Davidson dealership we do not "officially" inspect / service / go through our non-Harley & non-Buell motorcycles.
