This vintage BMW chopper was recently purchased by me from the original owner who bought the bike after it was turned into a chopper in 1981. He has been riding the bike as a daily rider since he originally bought the bike. The bike runs strong, starts easily, idles well and shifts properly. Has a clear Ohio title in my name, the numbers on the motor match the numbers on the title, there are no numbers on the frame. The transmission seal needs to be replaced as it is leaking. The tyres will need replaced as well. Upon researching the motor numbers I have found it to be a 1960-1962 R50S with 600cc jugs and pistons. The mileage is not accurate as there are no cables connected to the gauges. The bike has been left unchanged since it's original construction. The front timing cover has been custom engraved with a WWII German eagle and insignia. We at BCF DO NOT condone or support such symbols or ideals.
