1998 BMW K1200 RS Dakar Yellow NO RESERVE AUCTION-BID TO WIN! Thank you for viewing my auction. I am selling a 1998 BMW K1200 RS Sport Touring finished in rare Dakar Yellow/Black. I purchased the bike back in April 2016 with intention of keeping it, and unfortunately with work/family I have no time to drive it. I have a clean title in hand ready to go. The bike drives strong. The engine revs and pull great, no issue. You can drive this Bike anywhere, pick it up and drive it home. The transmission shifts through every gear smooth without issue and the clutch grabs. I put roughly 700 miles on the Bike and they were all enjoyable, I would not hesitate to drive this BMW anywhere. The tires are good front and rear with plenty of tread left. I have the original plastic BMW saddle bags and tool kit that go with the Bike. Things to note: The fairings are scuffed up on both sides from the previous owner as you can see in the pictures. The seat cushion is cracked and will need to be redone (see picture). The clutch handle needs to be replaced (see picture). The clutch grabs but is weak and will need a replacement sooner than later.
