Summer is in full swing and we can't think of anything more fun than blasting around the countryside with the warm sun at your back on a BMW Motorcycle. This 2008 BMW K1200GT comes loaded with just about every option available. It is in great condition (like-new really) and is an absolute blast to ride whether on the twisty back roads or cruising down the highway.....just like a sport GT should be!! As usual, WE'RE SELLING IT WITH NO RESERVE AND THE BID STARTS AT $1.00!!!! FORGET ABOUT ALL OF THOSE RESERVE AUCTIONS AND TRY A TRUE AUCTION. THIS BIKE WILL BE SOLD TO THE LAST BIDDER........NO MATTER WHAT!!!! Most dealers would list this truck with a hefty reserve, but not Valley Auto Sport.....we've got the best merchandise and no reserves. Ok....now for a few details. This is a one-owner motorcycle that was sold and serviced just up the road from us in State College, PA. We purchased it from the original owner and just love the color and all the options he ordered when new. The original K, the K100 – or ‘flying brick’, as it became known – was first introducted in 1983. Unique and independent in every respect, the K1200 GT has everything you would expect in a sports motorcycle: supreme riding precision and agility, engine output and road performance leaving nothing to be desired, as well as safe and superior handling in any situation. It combines all the features previously thought to be largely incompatible: sporting performance combined with comfort, easy handling in conjunction with supreme riding stability, high performance coupled with everyday riding qualities, a slender and sporting appearance combined with efficient protection from wind and weather as well as superior ergonomics. The key to this 1200GT is all of the factory accessories which is BMW’s trump card. When it comes to loading up on the factory options it helps if there’s an impressive range to choose from and as always BMW has included plenty. To begin, this one comes with features such as ESA (BMW’s clever Electronic Suspension Adjustment system), and BMW’s on board computer system. Next comes the adjustable windscreen, heated grips, and heated from and rear seats. The protection from the elements is at the top of the rankings, the adjustable windscreen provides great defense against the elements and the optional equipment list is simply staggering. Having the ESA, heated grips and other amenities makes you wonder why anyone would venture out on a touring ride without them. This one also comes with a tank bag, 3 hard bags on the back and a full cover in case you need to store it outside at any point. If you've ever owned a BMW car or bike, you know that there is really nothing else out there that compares. The Asian manufacturers have dominated this market for years, but this rocket-ship is helping to change all of that. It is truly amazing and ridiculously comfortable to ride....words don't do it justice. The new owner will get a great bike for an affordable price.....you will save a bunch of money buying here. The likelihood of finding another one like this being sold at a price this low is slim. If you're searching for a great GT bike, you need to give this one serious consideration. The paint is in excellent condition and everything works as it should. We really can't find any issues....it essentially looks new. The seat looks great with no holes or tears and the rest of the bike is awesome. We would rate it as being in near new condition without question. The previous owner lost his balance when stopping just before we bought it. He laid it over gently and scratched the one side of the bags. We have had that repaired and you wouldn't know anything happened if we didn't mentioned it.....the bike looks great!! There is power to spare and mechanically we can find no issues or problems. The front and rear tires both have good tread remaining and we really can't find anything that it needs. Listen folks, you will have a hard time finding a higher quality used K1200 GT anywhere being sold like this. Somebody is going to get a great deal on this bike!!
