This is a non matching numbers 1970 Dodge Challenger RT SE. Title vin matches vin tag but there is no fender tag. This car runs great but has some issues such as it needs a head liner and wiper arm , horn does not work but is there,front end might need work but new parts will come with the car, . There is a 383 8 cyl auto engine which purrs like a kitten. Odometer says 74k and that can not be confirmed as true miles but by sound of the engine it could be. This car has a clear title and is registered in collectible status so has a collectors plate. there are a few other cosmetic issues such as it is in need of the outer gas cap, windshield trim is there but previous owner did not do a good job of putting it on. . I am pretty sure there is some areas that have had bondo just because of the year but body is very solid. .If you are looking for a perfect numbers matching car this is not the car for you. It would be a good project car or daily driver.. No power steering or power brakes. Frame is not bad but not perfect. It has new gas tank, radiator, muffler (system is magnaflow), starter, manifold covers, air filter. Some extra parts come with it. The pictures in this auction ad are less than a month old. We have owned it for about 14 years and have done the mechanical work on it but not much of the cosmetic work. It is for sale because hubby has a stingray 1975 he wants to get fixed up. The car you see in pics is actual car.This car is being sold as is and with no expressed warranty. This is listed as pick up only but if anyone wants to pay for it to be shipped it will be ok also in US though only!On Jun-25-16 at 07:17:45 PDT, seller added the following information: after inspecting the car further while trying to get pics of the frame i did notice a very small area on driver door that has started to bubble , it is a very small area at very bottom of door. I wanted to add this because i previously answered a questions and said there was none. I honestly just saw this and wanted to make it known. in case this is a big factor in someones decision to bid. Also i am getting a lot of questions about the overhead console, when we got the car a part of the overhead did come with it but it was so messed up it was unusable i guess that is why the previous owner tried to do the headliner as they did. we never messed with headliner and could not find anyone that could do it right. the vin number states this is a special so if you look up the numbers you will see that the S after the j means special and also the number 29 means 2 door special. I hope this answers a lot of questions for those interested in bidding. I also wanted to add that the chrome around windshield was put on weird looks like it was glued on but that is easy fix and extra trim comes with car. Sorry i forgot to mention this originally.
