Please ask any questions and view all the pictures I have provided before bidding. I will do my very best to describe this bike to the best of my ability, but like anyone I may be subject to error. EBay would only allow me to post 24 pictures. If you would like any additional pictures or different angels please let me know and I will try to provide them if possible. Now about the bike. This is one of the rare early production Silver Tag bike in the Candy Ruby Red color. This 3 speed bike starts up sometimes in 1 kick. Other times it can take 5 or 6 kicks. Once started it idles just fine and once warmed up drives straight and shifts as intended. Once warn it generally starts 1st kick. Everything on the bike works as intended with the exception of the horn. I tested the horn and it works so I believe the switch might need to be replaced. On occasion it will drip oil from what appears to be the bottom tappet cover. I suspect it might need a new rubber o-ring. The paint , decals and headlight bucket are still in very nice condition but do have some of the usual chips and scratches you would expect from a bike of its age. All the chrome is nice and shiny and pretty much rust free. It does have some light patina on the chrome that happens over time. This can be seen at certain angles in the light. The front fender was replaced when the bike was new. I was told by the original owner when it was bought it had a ding so the dealer replaced it. All other parts to the bike appear to be original with the exception of the battery, fuel lines and spark plug which I replaced. I also bead blasted and repainted the footpegs. The seat is in great condition and is has the correct seat pan for the silver tag bike. Their's a small split in the seat cover but I didn't feel it warranted replacing. The cables are all in good shape and work as intended. The rims are nice with minimal patina and the tires appear to be original. The tires do have some light checking on the side walls but I have been driving it that way for sometime now. The rare silver tag exhaust is still in great shape and doesn't appear to have any rusted out spots. The mileage might change by a mile or two because I do like to ride it around in front of my house. The bike comes with the Original California Title and 1 Key.Thanks and Happy Bidding...
