Vehicle Detail
Clear, WA State Title in hand. I am willing to assist with shipping the car, but it will be at buyer's expense. This is a great LT4 car for a driver, or beginning of a track car. Vehicle is for sale locally, I reserve the right to pull this listing.I've only had the car about a year, but unforeseen circumstances are forcing the sale of my 1996 Arctic White LT4. I will include more pictures as requested, as the weather is pretty crappy and the car is in the garage. Happy to take pictures or videos (within reason) upon request. I'll be honest with the listing, and advise the things I know of that need attention if you wish to take care of them, or just drive the heck out of the car. It's a "DRIVERS" car - not a show car. I'll spare you detailed specs of the car, as I'm sure most here are aware of the 96' LT4 specs. Factory, stock LT4 cars are 330hp, 6 speed manual cars. The LT4 was ONLY available in the 6 speed cars. 1st. I have no records, other than those for which the time I've owned the car. The CarFax from when I purchased the car is available and showed regular service entries at a Chevrolet dealership and the dealership that I purchased the car from replaced the water pump and starter prior to my taking delivery. The car was originally sold in NJ, but has been in the PNW for most of its life. Mechanically, the car is very solid and hasn't had any issues. What the car has 101,300 miles New, OEM quality radiator. I did the work, drained, removed knock sensors, flushed, filled with DexCool etc. Arctic White Exterior Black Interior Shorty Headers (Secondary air injection system is removed, car still passed WA Emissions testing) Muffler Eliminators (sounds great) SLP Claw intake (prior owner cut the radiator shroud for some reason) Tune (not done under my ownership. Fan comes on at 193*) 100% functional Heat/AC/Defrost (including side mirror defrost working) Tinted Rear hatch glass No leaks, or visible drips (at least after a week or two of sitting in the garage) Excellent clutch Clean Interior Sport Seats (great condition, minus tiny bit of wear on drivers left bolster) Drilled/Slotted Rotors front and back All interior/exterior lamps work What the car may need, if you feel like addressing them vs just enjoying the car as a driver Rear hatch seal could stand to be replaced. Still keeps water out, but has been repaired by prior owner Rear Carpet Kit (was going to build custom rear interior) Stereo and all 4 speakers (I enjoy listening to the car, not a stereo) Could use paint. Previous owner, at some point had a scuff and spray done, adding a red stripe. It doesn’t look great and was a cheap job from what I can tell. It was peeling, so I sanded down and have used plasti-dip to cover it and the front bumper. Again, it's a driver so I'm not too concerned with it. Driver side seat is missing the cover for the switch that releases the seat forward to access the rear compartment The original blue tinted top was painted flat black under prior ownership. Doesn't bother me - if I want to see out the top, I remove it As stated, the car is mechanically solid and has had, really zero "issues" since I've driven it the last year. It's been on several longer drives (Salem, OR to Seattle. Tacoma to Eastern WA & back, 100-300mi day trips). Highway driving, I average about 27mpg, but it’s hard to keep your foot out of. Tires are in good shape (still has staggered wheel setup). AC is cold, heat is hot. Solid drivers car. I may have missed some details, so please feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to reply ASAP.
