1953 Chevy 3100 SWB Nice Truck! This is a beautiful 1953 Chevy 3100, short wheel base, that runs and drives great, shifts smooth, and stops like it should. It has been elderly owned, shop kept and driven a couple times a year. Mechanically this truck is top notch. No leaks. It has a 235 c.i. in-line six, which has recently been overhauled. All original set up with three-speed on the column and a six volt system with an electrical kill switch mounted nicely under the seat. All blinkers, lights, and gauges work, as well as the windows roll smoothly. The blower motor and switches for the heater work, it just needs hoses. The interior is great with a perfect seat and nice carpet. The bed is solid with tasteful wood accents and all-weather carpet. All glass in the truck has been swapped out for safety glass. All new weather rubber stripping has been installed. It sports a Corvette Z06 charcoal metallic paint job on an all metal body with aluminum wheels. The paint looks good; it does show some wear, some small scratches and imperfections. Overall, this is a really solid, southern truck--nice driver quality truck, not show quality.
