Ok....here's the details. This frugal, efficient, great looking car has only had 1 previous, local owner since new. When we got the call it was available, we stepped up right away. VW and Audi are both known to have the best "fit and finish" in the automotive world today. In fact, some have said that this golf is like getting all the best features of an Audi without paying the Audi price....it's really that good. The German engineering is impressive and we are very big fans of these fun cars. In addition, this particular one has the rare and highly sought after 2.0L Inline 4 Cylinder Turbo Diesel engine. Along with seemingly running forever, this engine is capable of well over 40 miles per gallon depending on your driving habits. Very few cars today can offer this type of reliability and efficiency. It just makes more sense to own a car like this, especially if you do a good bit of driving. Volkswagen has been much maligned over the past year due to their falsification of some emissions specs on their diesel engines. However, that has nothing to do with the reliability and efficiency of these awesome engines. Now is a great time to buy one since the market is a bit down on these right now. This one comes pretty well loaded with all the right features and options. All of the expected power options are included along with cool features like a Media Device Interface, 17" Alloy Wheels, a DSG shift-able automatic transmission, and even the Cold Weather Package with Heated Seats. VW's are not usually part of our normal inventory, but we've been quite impressed with this smooth riding 4-Door hatchback.
