It even changes the Title to this even though I didn't say Belair, that was the category that it was in so as you can see plainly from the pictures, this is a 210 two door Sedan of 2 door Post. 1956 Chevy Two Door Sedan - 2 Door Post - Model 210 This car was built as a show car and started as what appears as a really nice car. I bought it last summer in Oklahoma City as a first car for my grandson. In the meantime, we found a 67 Mustang Fastback and of course he wants it instead. This is a nice car that needs to be finished. I bought the car from a guy that bought it from his friend about in 2012 and he never did anything with it. His friend bought a restored original 72 chevelle. He swapped the motor, wheels, and tranny from the chevelle to the 56 and took the high performance motor from the 56 to the chevelle. The motor is fresh although I have never heard it run. They just sat it over and bolted it up. Here's the great stuff: Red and White 2 Door Sedan SBC 350 with T350 Automatic Power Steering Power Brakes Electric windshield wipers New chrome bumpers with guards and icense plate lights New Chrome tail lights I put new American Racing Wheels on and wrapped them in brand new Michellin 17" tires Custom interior that is like new Custom trunk, again like new Dark tinted windows with no cracks or chips All the stainless is either new or perfect, I can't tell but it all looks new I have run a magnet all over the car and can't find any excessive bondo. Magnet sticks everywhere! Here's what needs to be done 20 foot paint. First glance it looks like a show car but paint has some chips that need repaired. Talked to a local painter and airbrush artist said no promblem to fix chips without repaint, but the car looks great but has some chips. I have included pictures of the worst Three places on the car. I thought about buying touch up paint since it was going to be a driver but now that I am selling I felt I should leave alone so you can see what you are getting. Missing Radiator, drive shaft, mufflers, water pump and radio, and battery. Needs new package tray cover, looks like it went with the rear speakers when he took the radio. Needs new hood springs. The rear of the hood has to be pushed down when closing it because the springs are weak. The floors feel and sound from the top but my daughter says there are some rust places. Closer inspection show cancer in the original floor boards but the builder installed new floor pans over the old ones without cutting them out. Don't ask why because I can't figure it out!!!!!! Here's the parts I do have I have the original quadrajet but I would put a new carburator on it. I expect the quad can be rebuilt. New power streeting pump Alternator Starter Pullies This car is really a lot nicer than the pictures show it to be. It's just a few hours and a few dollars from rolling down the street and making a great driver. I am old, heart trouble and had a lung removed this year so I would have to pay someone to do all the work.
