Up for auction is a Vintage 1972 Honda CT70 K1 3 Speed Untouched Original 750 Miles. It has an early build date of (10/71) so it has the plastic gas tank left over from the K0 production. I bought this from the original owner who took great care of it in storage. When I got it I cleaned the carburetor and got it running (runs and shifts great). Since then I have removed the battery and gas and have stored it in heated storage. Nothing has been taken apart on this bike or fixed or restored or replaced. I cleaned the carburetor and cleaned the bike and that is it. It is clean and straight. There is some patina as there should be on the metal surfaces. The seat has a small tear on the top side. There are two small dents and chips on the right fork paint. The exhaust has rotted in the spot where the original asbestos muffler clamp gasket is (as most do). This is a great bone stock bike right down to the original tires. Frame # CT70-2015598 Engine #215486.
