Up for auction is an Excellent Survivor Example of the Very Rare, Very Refined, Very Classy and Very Quick Clean Low Mileage 60K Original 1996 Jaguar X300 4.0 liter XJR-Supercharged 6-Cylinder in the very desirable British Racing Green Exterior and Light Barley Interior. This model comes loaded with all the bells and whistles available at the time of production. It comes with great working power steering and ABS 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, mirrors, locks, seats, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, AM-FM, Cassette Muti-Speaker Stereo with also the trunk mounted Harmon Kardon Booster/Equalizer and the Jaguar/Mercedes-Benz 6-Disc CD Changer(never used). I had an I-Pod Jack has been discreetly added in the center consul when the radio was changed out and use that regularly (use memory button 6). Also having both Front and Rear Heated Seats, Sunroof/Moonroof and Great Working Climate Control with Super Heating, Defrost and Freezing Ice Cold Air Conditioning so it is a Dream to drive in Any Season, Hot or Cold! With a Production of only 2,148 units worldwide this two owner "Kitty" is the the One To Own as The Future XJR Super-Car Collectible due It is the Highly Coveted British-Racing-Green and has the more desirable Bullet-Proof 4.0 Liter Straight-Six Cylinder Super-Charged Engine rather than the later Ford V-8! It is also 99% Original Example with a California Accident-Free and Rust-Free Body. The Previous owner had died and it was in dry storage for almost 10 years and I bought it from the executive of his estate. The Story I got from the Ebay Seller when Winning it a Auction in December of 2013 for $9,200.00 (He was rumored to be connected with the Marlboro Racing Team as an owner or photographer and bought and cherished the car from new). After receiving the car chased a suspension/steering vibration(pul to the right) for almost a year (Tie Rod Ends, Wheel Bearings, Brake Rotors, Pads, Hardware, Wheel Balancing, Alignment, etc) I finally broke down and Replaced the New 10 year ago Zero-Mile, Big Buck Brand New(Old) Pirrelli Tires with More Modern Continental DWS Rubber and WALLAH, Dream Car Again With Unbelievable Control, Stability, Handling and Ride after spending almost $3,000.00 (My Loss is YOUR Gain)......Fully Sorted and Ready To GO. Also replaced initially after buying it were the Driver's Door Master Control Switch Panel(windows, locks and mirrors) and the Turn-Signal Assembly with New Old Stock Units! Now I can ascertain that it is well sorted and serviced to the best of my ability and affordability! I like my cars Correct and Safe, but I can no longer afford 12 plus cars and keep them all in the same state of updated tune, maintenance, condition and using the best of OE or NOS quality parts and trusted factory trained mechanical repair services. It Comes with Three Specialize Keys and Two OEM Jaguar programmed Key FOBs. Also I have a nice assortments of Factory Brochures, Manuals, Books, Records, Receipts included as I received them, plus all of my ownership receipts will be added (but misplaced the tire receipt)! Noticeable Flaws, Problems or Non OE Updates on this Kitty are as listed to the best of my knowledge below: -There is a few stains on the driver's seat bottom and because it is light color it was probably a result of a previous coffee spill. I have tried some Lexol cleaner prior to it's last Lexol leather conditioning. but may have to be professionally remove if it is a big issue to you. The rest of the interior is in near Mint and Perfect New like Condition except for a minor scuff in the rear seat leather and a micro 1/4" slit in the L/H Rear door panel. -The Original Jaguar radio has been replaced with another "Good Used" Jaguar Radio but it still has the same type of issues and lately it has moments when it will not turn off, but you can still adjust the sound volume which I could not control on the the previously replaced Jaguar radio. This appears to be a regular weakness on all these models. So plan on Radio repair or replacement. I just got a Brand new Hirshmann/Jaguar antenna as my daughter had an issue at the car wash. -When first started after not used for longer than a week or more there is a noticeable squealing from what sounds to be the water pump bearing that lasts briefly but some times from one to three minutes before it goes away and although there is no seepage or leakage evident it may be a sign of a needed water pump in the future. -The exterior BRG paint appears all factory original, but there is a minor scuff/scratch on the front L/H corner by the headlamp. The L/H Front Driver's door guard, lower door halves and rocker panels exhibit some of abrasions, scratches and paint finish flaws most likely due to wide-track tires and no stone guards! Also the lower air dam is cracked in the middle bottom edge due to it's low sleek stance and a too tall parking curb. See Photos :( -The rear truck gas charged lifters are a bit week, but still holds it up for now so I have Purchase a Quality Set of German "Stabilus" Gas Charge Struts/Lifters and have included them for the New Owner. Also I have a Matching set of Quality "Mintex" Performance Rear Brake Pads That were not needed at the time of replacing the Front Brake Rotors and Pads and I will give them also to the New Owner for later use! -The previous owner was a bit of a "Sporting Chap" so it appears that he had some expensive upgrades tastefully done including: a "K&N" type Cold Air Intake Pipe and Filter Installed, along with all 4 "Bilstein" Yellow and Blue Performance shock absorbers and a Very Expensive Aftermarket "Mina" Cat-Coverter-Back Stainless-Steel Free-Flow Exhaust System with Two Huge Lathe/Spun/Turned Tail Pipe Exit/Outlets-Very Cool and Sporty! With just a smidgen under 61K original miles and they may go up a bit more as I am still enjoying it on a few Special Occasions per week! This is just such a Dreamy Car to Experience that it makes me feel like "Rock Star" Royalty every time that I slide behind it's Leather Wrapped and Bent Wood Steering Wheel and get a Whiff of that Intoxicating Classically British Aroma of Quality Craftsman Created Vat Dyed English Country Raised Leather, Exquisite and Exotic Burled Walnut and Oak Wood Dash, Door and Consul Accents, Iconic Wilton Wool Carpeting and Trim and Yes Event a Hint of Old World Chrome! It's a lot like Slipping on Automotive Jewelry that makes you FEEL VERY SPECIAL in a way that Cadillac, Lincoln, Lexus and Even Mercedes-Benz Never Could!(My Opinion Only, but I've owned them all)!
