Ebay Boss 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Up for auction is my personal 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302. If you're looking at this ad, you're probably aware of the significance of this car. This is the Mustang that Ford built to challenge, and beat the M3. Don't be fooled, this car is so much more than a GT. This is the driver's Mustang. As the last of the analog, live-axle, retro-styled Mustangs - it is sure to be a collectors item. Regrettably, I am selling the Boss due to a family medical situation. I had planned to keep this car long term, which I'm sure will be evident by the care that it has received. The car is in fantastic condition and has just under 9,900 miles. It has not been driven in rain and has been meticulously maintained. I purchased the car in January 2013 from Morries Minnetonka Ford in Minnesota with 2500 miles. The car was bought by Morries' adult son, but he had changed his mind and purchased a '13 GT500 instead. I had the car shipped via enclosed hauler to Las Vegas, where it has spent the last 2 1/2 years as a weekend cruiser. I believe the car had two prior owners in Georgia and North Carolina. They put very few miles on the car and added a few things. Clear bra was installed on much of the car along with an aluminum driveshaft, lowering springs and window tint. They also activated the TracKey. More on that later. This Boss 302 is being offered in a no-reserve auction and will sell! If you've been waiting for a legendary Mustang this IS your opportunity! Exterior This 2012 Boss is finished in Competition Orange with gloss black C stripes, just like the 1969 302. The paint has a deep mirror shine and is complemented by the 19" factory black wheels. The paint has been maintained with Meguiars professional grade products. The black roof is swirl free, a true testament to the condition of the paint. The spoiler is the GT500 style that was added by a prior owner. I personally like the look of it. No holes were drilled, so it would be easy enough to return to the Boss style if you desired. The car was treated to a clear bra by the original owner. The clear bra covers the front bumper, grille, headlights, front of hood, a-pillars, side mirrors, leading edge of roof, lower portion of quarter panels and doors, and the top of the rear bumper. It still looks excellent and has done a great job of protecting the paint. There is really only one rock chip in the hood. It definitely does not look like a car with nearly 10k miles. There are a few spots where the clear bra has lifted slightly in corners. I have tried to photograph those areas, but they are minor and have not worsened in 2+ years of ownership. Early in my ownership, even while parking miles from a store, someone decided that a shopping cart should be pushed into the left rear bumper. The clear bra prevented almost all damage, but it was scuffed. I lifted some of the clear bra, and trimmed it to what I felt was an acceptable finish. It could be removed from the rear bumper completely, redone, or the remainder left as I have for pretection. The other result of the incident were two very small chips that I touched up and cannot be seen from 5 feet. I will be including the Dr. Colorchip kit that I purchased. These are the only flaws in the paint. The windows were tinted to what I would approximate is about 20% VLT. It is exactly what I would have chosen if I did it myself, and here in Nevada it is a necessity. It is easy to remove if you desire. I added Formula One Air Blue windshield film. It blocks heat and UV but little to no visible light. Prevents interior fading and rejects quite a bit of heat. The Pirelli tires are the original factory tires with 9k+ miles, but are not in immediate need of replacement. Rears measure at 5/32" and fronts about 7/32". There is zero curb rash on the wheels. I added LED lighting to the rear license plate and the turn signals and markers. All LED's that have been added are white. I dislike blue LED very much! The front license plate bracket is included, but was never installed. The front splitter has one small chip in it, but is otherwise excellent. I usually end up about 3 feet from anything! The car has always been garaged. Please see the images for a representation of the condition. Interior This Mustang has an exceptional interior. The black Recaro seats have no stains and show virtually no wear, even on the side bolsters. The carpet is clean and stain-free and the original floor mats are included. The alcantara is excellent, even on the steering wheel. This is a non-smoker car. This is a new car interior, period. I have added a few convenience items to the interior. Rear floor mats from Shelby American in black with no logo were added. Also added was a Gentex auto-dimming homelink mirror. The car is also prewired for a Valentine One radar detector with the cord behind the mirror. I used a blendmount (not included), or the suction cup mount would work. The wire is easily tucked away if you choose not to use it. All wiring was done with add-a-fuses in the passenger kick panel fuse box, and therefore, easily reversible. The original mirror is included. I also added Sirius Satellite radio using the Isimple Sirius adapter and a Sirius module. It is not currently activated, but I did use it up until about last spring. The antenna is mounted in the inside rear deck. No holes were drilled. There is also an oem auxiliary input in the console. LED's were swapped for the map/dome lights and trunk light. All original bulbs are included. The factory bulbs are quite dim. The trunk is clean and unused. The shift knob is a MGW unit that looks similar to the oem knob. More on the shifter in the mechanical section. Mechanical This Boss runs perfectly.The 5.0L V8 motor is powerful and sounds great. The side exhaust plates are currently removed, as they should be on every Boss! Well, if you'd like to quiet it down a touch, the plates are included. I purchased the Boss as a Ford Certified Pre-owned vehicle. In private party transactions, the CPO warranty can be transferred to the new owner. I will be providing that to the buyer. It is in effect until 9/30/2018 or 100k miles. Please contact me if you would like more details on this warranty. I will list the mechanical upgrades and modifications made to the car. MGW Race Spec V1 Shifter: Easily the best modification that I have done. Smooth, precise shifting. Excellent customer service and a fantastic product. Also combined with JPC braided clutch line, Amsoil MTF fluid and removal of clutch helper spring (GT500 pedal mod) has greatly improved shifting. I no longer get any 2nd gear "nibbles" while shifting when cold. I went from OEM to original MGW to the Race Spec. This one is the best. Axle Exchange 1 piece aluminum driveshaft: Installed by previous owner. Lightweight and reduced rotating mass. OEM not included. Eibach Sportline lowering springs: Installed by previous owner. Progressive rate lowering springs, firmer ride, but definitely liveable. OEM not included. Cooltech LLC Sound tube delete: This cleans up the engine bay and no longer "pipes" engine sounds through the firewall. Sound tube is included and easily reinstalled. Ford Racing TracKey Installed: Definitely a different car with the track key. Throttle response, lopey idle, and other cool tidbits. Amsoil 5W-50 synthetic motor oil G-Sim Jack pad adapters: magnetic adapters to prevent crushing the rocker covers and bending the pinch welds. I have kept records and receipts for the Mustang during my ownership and have some information from prior owners, including the original window sticker, car cover, t-shirt (unworn XL) and owners kit. Everything in the photos below will be included. Come to Las Vegas! This Mustang has always proved to be very dependable, and though I can not offer a guarantee, I will mention that I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
